The mandate of The Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide is to start churches in every nation, city, towns and villages all over the world. Upon this mandate, the church started in Canvey Island. RCCG Fruitful Tabernacle is a Pentecostal, friendly local church, located on Canvey Island. It is focused on reaching out to the community of Canvey Island.
RCCG FruitfulTabernacle is part of the great commission given to the body of Christ to reach out to all mankind and is part of the mandate given to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG is a worldwide church that was established in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi. The present General Overseer is Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
RCCG FruitfulTabernacle is a praying church that engages with the community and operates an open-door policy, welcoming everyone irrespective of their race, gender, region, or belief, sexual orientation, disability and age. Please see below our Church Welcoming Video!

Encountering Jesus
Being a Christian is sharing our faith. High quality Sunday services, invitational events, like Christmas services and Alpha, are all things we invite people along to, so they can hear and meet Jesus for themselves.
Being Disciples
Being part of a community means – living out life together, a family on mission, walking alongside to encourage and challenge one another. Small groups, Riverside Communities and Life Transformation Groups, equip and strengthen us to be and make disciples.
Serving Others
Jesus served wherever he went and we are called to do likewise; to serve the poor and welcome the stranger. Upbeat Communities projects, Storehouse, schools, parent and toddler groups enable us to reach out and serve our city and surroundings.

Bringing Influence
We recognise that each of us is called and designed by God to influence in and outside of our church. Raising up leaders to go, plant and build new communities, churches and sending teams out to the nations is all part of us giving beyond ourselves.
