Sunday School Department
Sunday School work in RCCG FruitfulTabernacle has a functional office from where the mixing, cooking, serving and administrative aspects is carried out.
Media Department
We live digital age and technology is constantly changing. At RCCG FruitfulTabernacle we have a thorough understanding of digital technology and how it affects our church. We applied social media to satisfy the demands and necessities of our congregation and visitors. Of course, we do not want to replace members’ participation with digital technology.
Children’s Ministry
At RCCG FruitfulTabernacle, our goal is to develop character, respect and integrity, in the children we serve. The children’s department disciples, through biblically based and reality-conscious teaching.
Our mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ in a manner that transform their lives by encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Him, through prayer and a solid foundation of biblical truths.
instrumental Department
At RCCG FruitfulTabernacle, our goal to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. The Music Ministry encompasses the Praise Team, adult choir, and youth choir.
Ladies in the Upper Room
To encourage women to accomplish their goals and manifest their true potential as help meet in the home through the following programmes.
Canvey Island Bake Off – where women invite other women in the community and bake cakes, cookies etc and raise money for local charities and encourage each other through the word of God.
Evangelism Department
The Bible has commanded us to evangelise – Matthew 28:18-20 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We regularly carry out the great commission and have regular evangelism in Canvey Island and beyond.
Counselling Department
Life is filled with test/trials and sometimes, we experience distressing situations and are overwhelmed by feelings and emotions. In these circumstances, it is helpful to talk to our counselling team who will be able to offer godly advice. We help with a range of issues including; marriage, depression, low self-esteem, decision making, bereavement and other life challenging matters. RCCG FruitfulTabernacle provides a confidential and safe environment where people can explore life issues.
Prayer warriors
RCCG FruitfulTabernacle intercessory team are the ‘prayer warriors’ of our church. They hold prayer night vigil every Thursdays and pray for the various needs in the church and our community. They acknowledge that Intercession involves taking hold of God’s will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.
Intercession is warfare and the key to God’s battle plan for our lives. The Bible clearly confirms that, “We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and spiritual powers in the heavens above” (Eph. 6:12). Intercessory prayer takes place in this spiritual world where the battles for our own lives, our families, our friends and our nation are won or lost.
Intercessory Prayers are held at the Church Premises between Midnight and 2 a.m on Thursdays
